Terms of Use and Sale

Last updated: 29 October 2026

FTRA is not an insurance broker and does not arrange cover or guarantee insurance outcomes.

These terms apply when you use www.ftra.co.za or buy a service or digital product from FTRA. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) that cannot lawfully be limited.

1. Who we are

  • Trading name: FTRA
  • Registered name: Fleet Telemetry Risk Advisory (Pty) Ltd
  • Registration number: 2021/720186/07
  • Physical address: 1026A Hyde Avenue, Eldoraigne, Centurion
  • Email: info@ftra.co.za
  • Telephone: 060 546 5590
  • Website: www.ftra.co.za

2. Using the website

Website content is provided for general information. It is not legal, insurance or financial advice. We try to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Products and services

  • Quick Fleet Risk Audit — a paid, structured desktop review based on the information and files you supply, resulting in a written 3 Pillars of Fleet Health report. It is priced by fleet size and does not replace an on-site assessment, legal advice or insurance advice.
  • Digital toolkits — downloadable templates and guidance. They are digital products, not consulting.
  • Business Plan Submission — individual written feedback on your submitted business idea and consideration for the FTRA Launchpad. Payment does not guarantee selection. See the Submission Terms.

Each product page describes what is included, what is excluded and any limitations. Initiatives marked “coming soon” or “sample concept” are not offered for sale.

4. Prices

Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). FTRA is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and the price shown is the total you pay.

  • Quick Fleet Risk Audit, Micro Fleet (1–15 assets): R2,500
  • Quick Fleet Risk Audit, Core Fleet (16–50 assets): R3,950
  • Quick Fleet Risk Audit, Enterprise Quick-Check (51–150 assets): R5,000
  • Project Risk Management Toolkit: R650
  • Operational Risk Management Toolkit: R650
  • Business Plan Submission: R500

If a price is shown incorrectly because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is placed when you pay online. For a Quick Fleet Risk Audit or Business Plan Submission, you first complete the relevant form and then pay. We may decline an order, for example if the information supplied is incomplete or the request falls outside the service. If we do, we refund you in full.

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Payfast, a South African payment provider, by card, EFT or instant EFT. FTRA does not see or store your card details. Payfast emails you a receipt for every payment.

7. Delivery

  • Digital toolkits: the files are emailed to the address you pay with as soon as your payment is confirmed.
  • Quick Fleet Risk Audit: after payment, we send you a secure link to upload your fleet files. Your written report is sent by email within 48 hours of receiving them.
  • Business Plan Submission: the review starts once your payment is confirmed, and written feedback is sent by email within the turnaround we confirm to you.

8. Cancellations and refunds

See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

9. Intellectual property and permitted use

The website, its content and FTRA's products are owned by FTRA or its licensors and protected by copyright. Digital toolkits are licensed, not sold, under the Digital Product Licence. Audit reports and feedback are provided for your internal use.

10. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • submit false, misleading or unlawful information, or information you do not have the right to share;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or other users' information;
  • interfere with the website's operation, including through automated or bulk submissions; or
  • copy, resell or redistribute FTRA content or products except as permitted.

11. Third-party services

The website may link to or rely on third-party services. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

FTRA provides independent analysis and guidance based on the information available to it. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including reductions in premiums, claims, collisions or losses. To the extent permitted by law, FTRA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for it. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the CPA.

13. Disputes and contact

If you have a complaint, please contact us first, quoting your Payfast payment reference if you have one. We will try to resolve it promptly and fairly. You may also have the right to approach the National Consumer Commission or another appropriate body.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order. The “last updated” date shows when they last changed.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
