Submission Terms
Last updated: 29 October 2026
FTRA is not an insurance broker and does not arrange cover or guarantee insurance outcomes.
These terms apply to business plan submissions for the FTRA Launchpad, nominations for the FTRA Industry Awards and information supplied for a Quick Fleet Risk Audit (each a “submission”).
1. Eligibility
Submissions are open to individuals aged 18 or over and to businesses. You must be authorised to act for any business you submit on behalf of.
2. Submission requirements
Complete all required fields in the relevant online form. For business plans, the submission fee is paid online after the form is submitted, and the review starts once payment is confirmed. We may ask for more information before reviewing a submission.
3. Accuracy and authority
You confirm that your submission is accurate, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not include confidential client information or other people's personal information without authority. For nominations, you confirm that the nominee has agreed to be contacted.
4. No guarantee of selection
Selection for the FTRA Launchpad or for an award is competitive and at FTRA's discretion. Paying the business plan submission fee pays for individual written feedback; it does not guarantee selection, funding, investment or equity.
5. Confidentiality and how we treat business plans
We treat business plans as confidential. They are stored securely, access is limited to the FTRA personnel and any evaluators involved in the review, and they are never published. However, we cannot prevent others from independently developing similar ideas, and we may already be working on or reviewing similar concepts.
6. Permitted use
We use submissions only to evaluate them, provide feedback, run the Launchpad or awards and contact you about them. With your separate permission, we may publicly announce award winners and Launchpad participants.
7. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your ideas, business plan and other intellectual property, except for any rights you agree to transfer or license in a separate written agreement.
8. Conflicts of interest and judging
Anyone involved in evaluating a submission must declare any conflict of interest and step back from decisions where one exists. Award categories and judging criteria will be published once approved.
9. Communications and timelines
- FTRA Launchpad: the top 10 applicants will be notified in May 2027 and invited to a one-on-one interview.
- FTRA Industry Awards: entries close on 30 April 2027, and winners will be announced online in May 2027 (date to be confirmed).
We will contact you using the details you provide. Timelines may change; any change will be shown on the website.
10. Withdrawal
You may withdraw a submission at any time by contacting us. Refunds of fees are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
11. No partnership, employment or equity entitlement
Being selected for the FTRA Launchpad does not create a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship or any entitlement to equity. Any investment or equity allocation — including the percentage, valuation, vesting, governance, responsibilities, IP ownership, expenses and exit terms — is governed only by a separate written agreement signed by both parties before any shares are allocated.
12. Fleet information for audits
The Quick Fleet Risk Audit form asks only for high-level fleet information. Do not submit driver names, ID numbers, exact live locations, raw trip-level data, passwords or API keys. If a deeper assessment needs data files, FTRA will arrange a separate authenticated upload with defined access controls and deletion periods.
13. Privacy
We process personal information in submissions as described in our Privacy Notice.
