Digital Product Licence
Last updated: 29 October 2026
FTRA is not an insurance broker and does not arrange cover or guarantee insurance outcomes.
This licence applies to FTRA digital products, including the Project Risk Management Toolkit and the Operational Risk Management Toolkit (“the toolkit”). By buying, downloading or using a toolkit you agree to it.
1. Licence granted
When you pay for a toolkit, FTRA grants the purchaser — you, or the organisation you buy for — a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use, copy and adapt the toolkit for its own internal business purposes.
2. Permitted use
- Use and edit the templates within the purchasing organisation, including its employees and contractors working for it.
- Keep reasonable copies for internal use and backup.
- Share completed templates (your own risk registers, trackers and reports) internally and with your advisers.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent or give away the toolkit or the blank templates;
- redistribute them to other organisations, including group companies that have not bought their own licence;
- post them publicly, including on websites, shared drives open to the public or file-sharing services; or
- remove copyright or ownership notices, or present the templates as your own product.
4. Ownership
FTRA keeps ownership of, and copyright in, the toolkit. You own the information you enter into the templates.
5. No guarantee of outcomes
The toolkit is a general-purpose tool. FTRA does not guarantee any particular outcome from using it, including reductions in risk, losses, claims, collisions or insurance premiums.
6. Your responsibility
You are responsible for adapting the templates to your organisation, operations and risks, and for checking that your use meets your own legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
7. Not legal or insurance advice
The toolkit and its guidance are not legal, insurance or financial advice.
8. Support and updates
If you have trouble opening a file, contact us and tell us which toolkit you received. FTRA may publish updated versions of a toolkit but is not obliged to provide updates free of charge.
9. Breach and termination
If you materially breach this licence, FTRA may end it by notice. You must then stop using the toolkit and delete your copies of the blank templates. Your own completed records remain yours.
10. Refunds
See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
